I have to admit that this is truly one of the most unhinged but also weirdly humourous things I have ever seen. I went into this thinking it was a compilation of nothing but random GACHA mini movies with the same premise. Instead I was met with this. There is a weird charm that this movie has. Not because of the constant baby war or whatever, but because it is practically oozing with weirdness. In a way it feels like a cursed accumulation of what gacha used to be, plus 3000 extra drama points. Also the cut from the babies sleeping to the next scene in 3:49 was hilarious Unironically, I enjoyed the thing. Yeah, elements were dramatic or off-putting, like the executions and deaths of children, but there is a structure to it.

Now that I look back at this. The entire series was dark as hell. In the first season the babies weren’t just bad. It was the mom too. First time I saw this I was like “Nika deserved it anyway”. But the scary room, hitting the kids, dragging her outside, leaving her out. Making a toddler literally clean the entire house, refusing to feed or change her, locking her up in the basement and all of that. That’s a little… extreme. Should’ve put the babies up for adoption to begin with For the second season where we see Lily as a mother now. Despite the entire ptsd moment Kaya was doing too damn much. Fuuka wasn’t a “psychopathic brat”. She was just a baby who didn’t know from right or wrong because Lily wasn’t parenting right. Her negligence is what nearly got her killed because she did the exact same thing her mom did to her sisters. And the fact she literally DRUGGED A BABY. This entire story doesn’t really make sense in general. Also I’m not gonna talk about the poop fetish. I really watched this with a straight face 💀
